What a busy summer! I’ve neglected posting new clips on my blog, so lets start with our first wedding from 2011. Betsy Gonski and Dennis Kramer chose a winter wedding and they had plenty of snow from three consecutive storms in January to decorate their landscape. Fortunately, there was no major snowstorm on their wedding day.
I covered Betsy back in her high school days of high school basketball, while Dennis worked at a hospital that has taken care of my niece on several occasions. Needless to say, we had an instant connection in our first meeting. Their day was as stress-free as they come and that translated to a fun wedding. The bride and groom both spent a lot of time on the dance floor, which always translates to a great party and that is reflected in their highlight film.
Along for the ride with Betsy and Dennis were Dave and Eileen from Breveglerei Photography. Billy Egen brought his musical talents to the ceremony and cocktail hour, while DJ Lou packed the dance floor at the Log Cabin in Holyoke. Durocher Florist added awesome greenery and ambiance in the aisle of the church to give it a winter feel. The song choice for the highlight was a mutual pick as it had the perfect energy and vibe to fit their day.
Welcome to our new blog! I am just coming off a fantastic seminar with wedding filmaker Adam Forgione of Pennylane Productions. Adam has the same passion and energy that we have at JPod Productions for making great wedding films. As we refocus our energy towards these shorter, adrenaline-filled and emotional films of your wedding day, Adam’s talent and tutelage was exactly what I was looking for to prepare our team for the 2011 wedding season. We are fine tuning our shooting and editing techniques, as we have added Canon DSLR technology to our camera arsenal as well as a Glidecam to improve our overall look this coming year. If you like what you have seen so far from JPod Productions, expect bigger and better things in the coming year!
