We take a break from our Boston wedding videos to visit a new popular destination for JPod Productions wedding films, which are the Green Mountains of Vermont. This new popular destination brings us a Vermont wedding video from the towns of Woodstock and Killington on a beautiful day that brought together the sweet Amy Zajdel and the charismatic Justin Laramie for a classic Vermont Wedding. Amy and Justin are a couple that embraces the beautiful landscape of the Vermont Mountains and all they have to offer. Although they have this equal enjoyment of the Green Mountains, I think it is Justin’s outgoing personality matched with Amy’s more conservative demeanor that makes these two a great couple.

Amy and Justin’s wedding had a lot of Vermont charm with the groom helping to build many of the elements of this Vermont Mountain-themed wedding. There was a birch tree archway for the reception entrance, table numbers carved out of actual tree trunks, mason jar favors, and tall, tree branch centerpieces with hanging votives as part of the reception decor. The bride used a pair of yellow wedding shoes and yellow accents in their bridal bouquets to give the wedding a little “wow” factor. Add to that, the groomsman’s cowboy hats and a couple of “Yee-Haws” and you had a great Vermont wedding video.

In this Vermont highlight film, the ceremony took place at Our Lady of the Snows Church in Woodstock, while the preparations and reception were held in the beautiful Killington Grand Resort Hotel on Killington Mountain.  We filmed alongside the great photography team of Rick and Paula Labrecque from Cronin Hill Photography and the party was full of energy thanks to Neil from Starlight Entertainment. The wedding was featured by Vermont Vows wedding blog and the couple also received a wedding trailer which is also located on this Boston Wedding Video blog.

In between all of the bridal fitness tips, it is time to get a new Boston wedding video on the blog in the form of a highlight film. Annie and Mike were an awesome couple! Annie was the first former student that I have ever had as a bride. Her and Mike came from the same hometown of Agawam and their relationship was one that developed throughout their long distance relationship in college and they have become one of the first in their group of friends to get married.

One of the things that stuck out to me about this wedding was how involved Mike was in the whole wedding process. Annie definitely has a keeper! Mike’s thoughtful personality was something that was highlighted during the best man speech and was a big reason why this wedding when off without a hitch. Additionally, Mike’s groomsmen were a positive influence on the day, as they were on the dance floor as much as the ladies. And I’ve said it before, the bride and groom drive the dance floor and this night was a perfect example of that. If the bride and groom dance, everyone dances!

Mike and Annie were married at St. John’s Parish in Agawam with the reception at the scenic Log Cabin in Holyoke. Annie had a sweet pair of “Champagne Goggles” shoes by Hey Lady and a dress from Bancroft Bridal. Some awesome local vendors surrounded us as the couple built in enough time for Dave and Eileen Breveglerei from Breveglerei Photography and us to have an awesome photo session. Add that to a great party atmosphere created by DJ Brian Nicks from Brian Nicks Productions, and you have an awesome Boston wedding video production in Western Massachusetts.

Monica and Sean had an apple-themed wedding at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Massachusetts in early September. One of the highlights of the day was back to back choreographed first dances by the bride and groom to start the reception. You never know what to expect when a couple chooses the choreographed route, but Monica and Sean impressed the masses in the Tekoa Country Club ballroom. The highlight of the decor was a 20-basket cupcake display that was created by the groom himself. Each basket had 20 mini cupcakes, each with a different flavor made by Moma Cakes of Westfield. The impressive display is featured in the beginning of the wedding highlight film.

The wedding highlight film also features the couples’ self-written vows which always add a sweet, personal touch to the wedding day. The couple were married by one of my favorite officiants in Mikki Viereck, who was an old colleague of mine back in my television days at WWLP-22News. The pictures and first look took place at nearby Stanley park in Westfield, with the ceremony and reception taking place at Tekoa Country Club.

Other Vendors from the day included:

DJ – Ray Crooks Entertainment

Photographer – K & K Photography

Make-up – LTW Custom Cosmetics

Dress Shop: Bancroft Bridals

Dress: Maggie Sottero

Limo: Deluxe Limo

I met Jess and Matt through wedding planner Samantha Talora, as she was instrumental in helping the California couple plan this destination wedding of sorts in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Jess, who moved from Boston to California in 2010, was the sweetest of brides and it was evident that her and Matt were going to be a fun couple to be with on their very coveted 9/10/11 wedding date.

The day could not have been any more gorgeous with blues skies surrounding the Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club. The highlight film touches on the importance of Jess’s Mom, who had passed away before her daughter got married. Matt really found the special touch to make his bride’s day extra special. Also, make sure not to blink during the sand ceremony for a comical moment between the two.

We got to work with some great professionals as we paired with Jane from Iris Photography for the during the 2011 wedding season. Mark from Hard at Play’s DJ Service did a great job of keeping the crowd on their dancing feet all night long, while Teresa Mango added the softer, more beautiful ceremony music via her harp. And, Ann Long Designs created the elegant floral pieces seen throughout the wedding.

When it comes to great personalities, Lindsey Grgurich (Cassanelli) is right at the top of the list. Lindsey’s wedding day with Austin was a beautiful, warm summer day that has personality, genuine love and lots of fun. Lindsey and Austin chose to do their photos before the ceremony, which provided us with a great first look and ample time for a great photo session. Lindsey chose a beautiful one strap dress from Bridal Heirlooms in South Hadley, MA, while Austin was very stylish with a lighter grey tuxedo that better fit the season and the outdoor ceremony. Lindsey’s make-up was done by Naomi’s Salon and it looked perfect as well.

We got to work with a very cool and talented photographer in Eric Foley, while Dan Cavanaugh from And the Beat Goes On DJ kept the dance floor rockin’ all night. The ceremony and reception took place at the Riverview in Simsbury with much of the photo session taking place on the Old Drake Bridge in Simsbury, Connecticut. The bridge is an awesome drop back for photos if you are in that area for a wedding. Click here to see a direct link to some of Lindsey & Austin’s wedding photos.
